Salary: 6,000 to 7,000 AED Our client is a well-known Multi-National logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai and works across all industries. The group operates a global network with some 500 offices in more than 70 countries. Due to their expanding portfolio of clients they are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to control and manage the day to day pick pack logistics operation for their clients. Job Responsibilities: - Understands and ensures adherence to company Quality Policies, Standards and Guidelines (according to ISO 9’001, ISO 14’001 and ISO 18’001 certification) and ensures compliance to processes and procedures. - Manage the physical Inbound / Outbound shipment movements within the main operation and various sub operations. - Control & handle the handover of materials once picked and packed to either BTO (buy to order) bin location or PFS (pick from stock) orders to dispatch staging area once the quality checks and balances have been completed. - Plan & control the daily pick & pack orders per day of the week. - Ensuring that all picking & packing is completed within the given time frames with all the required pick pack orders. - Control & handle any labeling or serial number tracking per product per pick & pack sales order - Confirm invoices. - Add suppliers to the freight logistics program. - Confirm costs are in line with any quotes noted. - Check to make sure shipping charge matches product shipped. - Match tracking number with tracking number in vendor section. - Research unknown invoices - Follow up on Freight claims. - At least 1-2 years’ experience in the field of Logistics & Supply chain and its key contributors, inclusive of Telecommunications and Network products. - Experienced in handling RF scanners. - Must have knowledge and experience in using Exceed system. - Reach truck or Forklift experience a must with Valid License. Packaging & package handling. - Warehouse and equipment handling, especially light vehicle (Reach truck / Forklift). - Cabinet component assemblies and insertion of electronic devices. - Knowledge of Exceed / MS Outlook / Intermediate MS Excel. - Knowledge of Sap – an advantage In return you will be well rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits structure while working with a company who is ready to grow and develop your career should you show the potential.
