Job Positions for:
Safety Engineers, Supervisors, Inspectors,Riggers, Fire Fighters, Tower Crane Engineers, Tower Crane Mobilizers, Equipment Engineers
•Conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections of Site facilities and Projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and guidelines.
•Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed.
•Notifies management staff regarding violations of safety regulations and codes.
•Prepare recommendations for corrections and follows-up to ensure that violations have been corrected.
•Safety officer monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies and government safety regulations.
•Developing and implementing safety policies.
•Safety officers inspect interior and exterior work areas to determine if there are any safety hazards.
•Safety officers check the stability of scaffolding, ensure that workers use hard hats and protective footwear, and check to make sure employees operate construction equipment in a safe manner.
•Analyzes hazards and develops risk assessments for both Project areas and work sites; develops policies, plans and procedures to minimize risk to the employees.
•Investigates safety and health complaints submitted by management, employees.
•Evaluates concerns and alternatives, resolves complaints and makes recommendations to management for corrective action, as required.
•Prepares, distributes and reviews employee questionnaires regarding health and safety issues
•Develops and implements, after approval, internal safety rules, policies and guidelines.
•Prepares manuals, training outlines and employee instructions.
•Reviews accidents and makes recommendation for prevention of similar future incidents. Knowledge of:
•Principles, practices of and applicable equipment related to Construction safety and hazardous management.
•Standard occupational hazards, including accident analysis and prevention techniques, applicable laws, codes and regulations.
•Project management and research methods and practices
Skill in:
•Developing and implementing an effective safety program.
•Assessing risks and hazards and making effective recommendations for action and correction.
•Interpreting, applying and explaining applicable laws, codes, regulations and guidelines performing technical, detailed safety, hazard, and environmental research.
