As the retail business is expanding, the company wants to increase its accounting team to have a dedicated accountant for 3 stores operating in the retail of wall art. This is based in the head office at DAFZA and is [part of a small and dynamic team. Tasks and duties will include: • Accounts/Finance: 1. Enter daily sales by location into ERP system. 2. Compile and send daily sales reports to DXB Finance department 3. Compile and send weekly sales reports to Europe 4. Petty cash management and reconciliation 5. Dealing with bank on ad-hoc issues 6. Bank reconciliation 7. Assist with Audit as required by Finance Manager 8. Prepare sales reports 9. Submit all payment requests for shipping costs and orders 10. Cross check all invoices due to Europe and submit for payment to Finance Department 11. Submit monthly discount reports. 12. Assist with all financial reporting as stipulated by Finance Manager for monthly P&L 13. Assist in budget development and feasibility studies for new stores • General Administration 1. Liaise with mall/landlord for lease/permits/permissions etc. 2. Develop a filing system filing system for accounts, sales, deliveries orders in store and DAFZA. 3. Track any staff deductions and send through to HR 4. Assist with any quotations for project sales In order to be considered for this role you should have the following knowledge and experience: • Strong accounting background within a retail environment with multi stores • Reconciliation of accounts • Budget development experience • Excellent admin skills • Excellent English written and spoken communication skills • Comfortable dealing with managers on the phone and face to face • Able to diffuse a problem – accounts related • Able to handle varied workload under tight time restrictions • Works well under pressure • Attention to detail, loyal to the brand owners – with profitability the primary goal • Self-starter – who can create processes and gain the approval of Finance Manager. • Open-mindedness, pleasant and elegant appearance • A result-oriented way of working, target-oriented communication and a hands-on attitude • IT knowledge: MS Office, ERP visual enterprise (customized ERP system) - Advanced knowledge of Excel This is a modern thinking Qatar based Group of companies that operates in a diverse range of activities from technology to energy to retail.
