Currently one of the divisions of our company is looking for a highly skilled product merchandizer and product coordinator. This is a luxury wall art retail brand based in Germany with its franchisee partner based in Dubai. It is a small team that requires very hands on approach. With month orders being placed and received and has three retail locations in the UAE, we need someone who can be the link between the buying selection and the delivery to the stores. The key areas of responsibility will include: 1. Checking order confirmations against orders placed 2. Highlighting order confirmation discrepancies and liaising with buyer and brand for replacements 3. Checking invoicing values to order confirmations and following up any discrepancies 4. Submitting invoices to Finance for payment and then follow up that payment is made and updating the brand principal and the shipping department 5. Collecting all of the shipping documents and packing lists and submitting to the logistics department and liaising with shippers 6. Prepare all stock allocation lists of new orders and current warehouse stock to ensure in and out is as efficient as possible 7. Manager special customer orders in terms of stock quantity, payment and shipping Conduct, with support of retail staff, regular inventory checks and updating the inventory system. This role requires someone is who is excellent on Excel and is used to working with some sort of ERP system. You must have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written. You must have a double checking type personality and look for the errors and not simply quickly scan. Detail orientated is vital when dealing with inventory, shipping and payment. Strong follow up skills, excellent problem solver, willing to be flexible and work extra hours when big shipments arrive. Willing to visit the warehouse and the stores to really see the stock and understand it. You must have a personality that is able to deal with international employees. This is a junior level role that needs someone who has been a product merchandiser for 2 years. This role requires someone is who is excellent on Excel and is used to working with some sort of ERP system. You must have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
