Business Unit Manager - Broadcast & AV - Al Futtaim Technologies - Dubai, U.A.E.
An exciting opportunity is opened for an experienced Business Unit Manager - Broadcast within Al Futtaim Technologies. You will be responsible for the profitability and effective operations of the business unit, and be responsible for the achievement of sales targets through the sales account managers. On this role you will be responsible to coach and mentor the sales team. Direct and monitor sales activities, engage with each team member and customer alike. Fulfill sales revenue target, maximize profit and market shares in ICT/ELV sector in assigned region.
Achieve forecasted revenue targets month on month. Establish and maintain excellent relationship with potential and existing customers to provide world-class customer service to strengthen customer loyalty and market penetration. Generate and maintain credible sales forecast and provide this information on regular basis to management. Manage and monitor mechanisms for systematic prospecting; formulating proposals, following-up effectively and closing sales efficiently. Liaison inter-department activities to enable smooth workflows.
Your role will be based in Dubai. A team of sales account managers will be reorting to you & you will report into the Division Manager.

To be considered for this exciting role, you need to have a Bachelors / Engineering degree in IT / Computer Science / Electriconics / Telecommunication or related disciplines. You should have minimum 18+ years sales experience in broadcast of which 7+ years managing a sales team. Proven track record for providing turnkey solutions, experience in handling tenders and RFP. Experience of selling Panasonic Broadcast range of cameras is highly desirable. Previous experience of proactive sales and working on technical specifications. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.
Along with previous experience you must have a strong work ethic, competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication skills. An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with management and customers in a professional manner are essential. Lay out functional strategy and evolve to changing market dynamics to achieve business objectives. Identify new products/ areas of new revenue stream and advocate the same intra company and to the market.

You will have a high level of market awareness, analytical ability, decision making, strategic thinking, teamwork & leadership.
