An privately owned Oil and Gas E and P company in Oman are seeking an Insurance Specialist to join the team. As Insurance Specialist you will follow up on medical insurance for all employees by determining Insurance coverages, examining and resolving medical claims and maintaining quality service to all employees. Responsibilities; *Verifying employees` insurance coverage. *Assisting employees in obtaining and understanding medical benefits. *Processing medical insurance claims for employees. *Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims *Liaising with the claimants and advising them on any issues that arise or missing documents when claiming. *Examining the claims and verify insurance eligibility with the insurance provider or thru the broker. *Updating internal databases and organizing employee claims records, billing details and registration forms. *Making sure to get a pre-approval for certain medical procedures such as surgery. *Ensuring a fair settlement and good customer service for the employees. *Making sure any physical loss is within the scope of all-risk policy (acts of nature) in order to be covered and understanding the exclusions under the same policy. Qualification / Experience; -Diploma with proven experience in Insurance -Good communication skills in both Arabic and English -Should have knowledge of the following insurance policies: -Life and Medical Insurance -Workmen Compensation Insurance -Property All Risks Insurance -Office Multi-Cover Insurance This is a staff residential opportunity.
