Role Purpose The Supply Chain Manager will have the overall responsibility for their assigned project and/or statement of work and will acts as the respective focal point. Providing leadership and coordinates with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate issues and help secure performance to commitments. Principal Accountabilities • Develop strategy and program project plan in line with the production schedules for timely placement of purchase orders with suppliers in support of an executable plan. • Ensure line of sight to sold terms, requirements, and deliverables; develop a project compliance and risk management plan for reconciliation. • Manage and ensure supplier program milestones and payments reconcile with Programs expectations / requirements. • Pro-actively manage supplier technical and program performance, collecting and analyzing supplier data, maintaining priorities; ensure timely issue resolution; conduct root cause and corrective actions and identify solutions for corrective action plans in terms of supplier performance to requirements.. • Conduct concurrently at each phase of the program lifecycle lessons learned and issue / problem / opportunity process discipline improvements. • Manage and ensure major suppliers have demonstrated executable program plans; supports design reviews and weekly action meetings / reports including risk profile. • Establish program budgets in alignment with sales contract and program /finance flowdown. • Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner. • Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and coordinate with other Logistics personnel and the program / project teams in support of procurement activities. Qualifications and Education Requirements • B.S. Degree in an Engineering or Degree in business management. • Automotive back ground • 5 – 10 years in full Supply Chain Management . • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Preferred Skills • Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills. • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Team working and interpersonal skills • Detailed Oriented and Problem Solving skills • Ability to build positive relationships and to maintain cross-functional partnerships Working Conditions and Physical Requirement • Office Job • Travel required We operate in the MENA region and our armoured vehicles are supplied and used worldwide.
