? Assist in Emergency Medical Services and for implementation of routine Occupational Health Services for ORYXGTL operations at Doha/Ras Laffan offices.
? Ensure effective coverage is in place for emergency medical response, and facilitates medical transfers from site, ambulance services and emergency evacuations when necessary.
? Assist in oversees case management for injuries, illness, restricted work and return to work plan.
? Administer other medical visits including Occupational Health (OH) assessments, treatment and referrals.
? Conducts in-service consultations to staff on medical issues and preventive health measures.
? Assist in providing occupational health surveillance, including administration of health risk matrix and review/assessment of pre-employment physicals / fitness for work guidelines, as per policy.
? Establish a medical surveillance program that encompasses hazard identification and monitoring in conjunction with plant safety personnel.
? Liaise with RLC Medical Services, and Ministry of Health, QP Medical Clinic and other local hospitals.
? Establish medical relationship with patients, contracted medical referral centers, OH Physician and contracted medical services.
? Support the Development and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency medical and OH procedures, including appropriate protocols and medical directives along with contract OH physician.
? Assist with development and implementation of immunization policy for ORYX GTL staff (Hepatitis A and B, flu vaccine, etc.).
? Support the wellness programs (e.g., Health Promotion, Home Safety, Medical Awareness, etc.)
? Administer computer based system for staff health records, vital statistics, SHERQ statistics and reports (e.g., clinic visits occupational and non-occupational visits), etc., prepare reports and statistics as required.
? Conduct First Aid, CPR and AED Training to staff.
? Assist in the Inspection of plant facilities and buildings, including cafeteria and welfare facilities and First Aid Boxes/AED, to ensure effective infection control and compliance with occupational health standards.
? Prepare inspection report and keep a track of corrective actions.
? Contribute in all activities related to set up of the ORYX GTL Health Center and procurement of medical equipment and consumables.
? Prepare inventory, maintain stocks and keep a track of expiration date.
? Maintain calibration and service charts for all equipment and ensure that plant First Aid Kits and medical supplies are adequate and maintained.
? Contribute in planning and implementation of budget for Health and Hygiene matters and Health Center and track monthly balances.
? Ensure “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
? Demonstrate visible commitment to HSE by periodically taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc. Minimum Qualification:
? Diploma from Nursing School.
? Certificate in Occupational Health.
? Current RN Licensure in country of origin.
? BLS Certification and Instructor Certification is an advantage.
? CPR Training and BLS (Basic Life Support) is an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
? 4 – 5 Years of experience as RN.
? 2 Years of Experience in Occupational Health.
