A leading Financial Institution in the Middle East is looking for a Murex Programme Manager to lead their ongoing Murex Programme.
ROLE PURPOSE & KEY PRIORITIES:
- Manage Large Transformational Strategic Projects for the Bank. These key initiatives are expected to greatly enhance Bank’s Product Capabilities and therefore have significant impact on Bank’s Top and Bottom Lines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Program Planning, ensuring the project has well defined business case, charter, scope, requirements, deliverables
- Effective Execution of the program, from scope, schedule and quality. Responsible for Risk Management, Schedule management, Milestones and Dependencies Management.

- Grooming Junior PMs and helping them become effective in banking environment - Over all 15-20 years of IT Project Management with 5+ years (recent) in Banking Domain (Treasury). Regional experience useful but not Mandatory.
- Experience in implementing Murex or related treasury projects in a Bank or other financial institution. Murex implementation is referred but not mandatory.
- Product Migration from an existing system of record to the new system covering all the upstream integrations and downstream data flows including financial systems such as DW, General Ledger etc
- Significant experience in leading large Programs running for more than 12 months that have enterprise wise impact.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders including business heads, functional heads and Org Management
- Grasp on Project Management Principles and Methodologies such as PMP, Prince etc.
- Strong Project Management Experience including Stakeholder Reporting, Managing Risks, Project Interdependencies
- Managing Multi Location

- Good handle on Project Planning tools such as Microsoft Project. MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Product Skills:
- Mx 3.x implementation experience.
- The PM should be able to size HW, resources and schedule related to implementation based on asset classes and underlying complexities.
- PM to have good experience in FO, MO, BO functions / workflows relevant to Mx
- Mx interfaces to various market data feeds and trading platforms
- Exposure to GLCMS is preferred.
- Integration of MX with GLCMS preferred.
