Our client, a well-established group of companies based in Qatar and listed on the financial market, is seeking to recruit top notch Service Manager (after-sales) to join their Home Appliance & Air Conditioning business unit (company) Reporting to the general manager of the company / division head, the incumbent shall Control & Supervise Electronics, Home Appliances and Air conditioning Service and Spare Parts operations in an efficient and professional manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Accordingly, the job holder will: • Directly supervises the service department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing compaints and resolving problems. • Responsible for negotiation / confirming “Annual Maintenance Contract” with customers • Specifically responsible for the service divisions Profit & Loss • Responsible for the scheduling of product review appointments • Responsible for conducting/arranging product training to the technical personnel • Responsible to incorporate & assist the commercial/sales team for the ‘best practices’ theory selecting sellers and products. • Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary spares for the service. • Assisting in the disciplinary or technical recommendations required for all service, Supervisory or technical personnel. • Responsible for insuring standards and company safety policies are complied with all times. • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. • Responsible for scheduling and performing preventative maintenance. • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. • Initiates or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. • Responsible for insuring a professional appearance and attitude for all service, supervisory technical personnel at all times. The ideal candidate should have: • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning or Electronics) • Experience in spare parts inventory management, systems and procedures • Strong commitment towards customer service and history of successfully meeting set benchmarks of various customer service parameters. In other word, Customer Satisfaction procedure is a must. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing service center(s) in similar environment / business, overall work experience 15 years within service function. • Fluency in English, Arabic an added advantage • Computer literate, having hands-on experience in one of the CRM and Maintenance software in a must. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
