Regional Head of HR Operations (GCC and wider ME) On behalf of our client, a well-known western multinational organisation, listed in a number of jurisdictions, we are urgently seeking a Regional Head of HR Operations (GCC and wider ME remit). Based in the regional headquarters of Dubai, the position will focus on updating and creating improved HR Operations at both country and regional level. Prime responsibilities will include, driving a transformation programme which will enhance HR effectiveness in supporting the organisations business units (internal clients), increase speed of the HR function and seek continuous improvement. Our client is also about to create a shared services centre for HR across the ME region, candidates who have set up or worked in a shared services environment will be of particular interest but this is not a 100% vital requirement. Our client is an excellent employer with high employee retention and excellent governance in a meritocratic environment. The regional scope of HR has expanded from the GCC into the wider ME region and HR Operations should be scaled up to absorb the new region size. There is added complexity when viewed with also creating a shared services centre for the region. Our client seeks a person with a high attention to detail; who is action orientated, can work across cultures and is career focused as this role is a route to a larger role within the organisation. Future steps can be Head of HR Operations for Europe, the Americans or Asia Pacific Operations or a country or sub region Chief HR Officer position. Relevant candidates MUST HAVE this vital experience - A minimum of fifteen years’ experience in a senior HR position and will be able to demonstrate a strong experience of HR operations. Experience from a western multinational organisation. Experience of being based outside their home country in a senior HR position for at least two years (please note candidates who do not possess this will not be considered) Experience working (and based) within the GCC in a senior HR role.
