Job Summary: * Assist in developing and archiving all contracts * Monitor compliance to contractual terms * Manage claims due to variation of orders Roles and Responsibilities: Contract Development & Maintenance * Assist in maintaining contract related paperwork and automated filing systems for easy retrieval, and to satisfy Legal and Audit requirements * Provide administrative support for all contract management activities such as contract termination, suspension, claims, variations, close-outs and extensions * Assist Cost Estimation in project costing by providing contractor data such as prices Contract and claim Management  * Look-out for breaches in contract delivery * Solicit feedback from end users (Project Managers) to identify breaches * Perform root cause analysis to identify source of breach Coordinate and follow-up with vendors and Project Managers to ensure seamless execution of contracts/scope of work * Monitor and report contractor schedule adherence to Head of Procurement and Project Managers accurately and in time  * Help in resolving issues in case of any schedule slippage Assist in tracking and recording all contractual changes are tracked Coordinate vendor payments with Finance, review and maintain all paperwork related to vendor payments * Schedule vendor payments in accordance to credit terms in the contract * Schedule vendor payments per payment schedule in the contract Perform end-to-end Variation Order process * Assess, analyze and recommend to supervisor Variation Orders * Liaise project Management and Project Controls * Gather input from cost estimation to estimate the cost impact of the variation of orders Reporting Lines: Report to: Senior Manager - Contract Administration & Claim Management Report From: Capabilities / Skills: Business capabilities: * 8+ years of experience in contract administration preferably with a large real estate company * Demonstrated expertise in contract lifecycle management of contracts as big as AED 4 billion * Specific knowledge of contract laws and FIDIC terms  Interpersonal skills: * High standards of personal and professional ethics that lend to managing an unbiased tendering and contract management process * Attention to detail for monitoring contract delivery * Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) for drafting and maintaining contract documents * Advanced/multiple linguistic skills to manage relationships with local and international contractors, knowledge of Arabic required * Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with users (Project Managers, Contract Management) and suppliers/contractors Key Performance Indicators: * Cycle time of contract preparation * Number of contract breaches identified * Saving on Variation Orders * Bachelor degree in engineering or contract management The company has developed some of Abu Dhabi's most iconic and complex projects, from the Formula 1 facilities on Yas Island to the thriving new Shams Abu Dhabi community on Reem Island.
