1. Develop and implement sales and marketing plans based on demand segments and maximize REVPAR 2. Assure that sales and marketing plans are appropriate for each sales period, including special plans to maximize room revenue during forecasted low occupancy 3. Know key accounts and actively “sell” through sales calls, property tours etc 4. Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions. 5. Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology. 6. Monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met. 7. Pro-actively solicit new clients for assigned hotel by making face-to-face sales calls in the assigned market on a regular basis as appropriate. 8. Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments. 9. Prepare weekly sales report listing daily efforts, including a summary of all definite and tentative business booked along with any cancellations and/ or lost business. 10. Responsible for achieving budgeted corporate and group segment goals as established in the business plan. 11. Identify and analyze competitor hotels both locally and regionally. 12. Prepare and update a sales action plan indicating all future efforts, goals and objectives outlining weekly sales efforts in a planned, organized realistic plan to develop and grow hotel’s penetration within the assigned segment. 13. Ensures that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded. 14. Assist in preparation of revenue and occupancy forecasts 15. Forecasts and accurately records and all bookings and cancellations. 16. Is a leader in Revenue Management to ensure that maximum revenues/yields are achieved. 17. Participates in select sales activities both on and off property. 18. Coordinates and conducts periodic pricing reviews. 19. Know the hotel’s demand segments and sources of business for each 20. Know the principle competition for each demand segment and take advantage of the company’s relative strengths against each 21. Prepare and participate in Trade and travel shows 22. Be responsible for Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans. 29. Be responsible for Planning and implementing promotional campaigns. 30. Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results. 31. Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity 32. Preparing online and print marketing campaigns. 33. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications. 34. Creating a wide range of different marketing materials. 35. Working closely with design agencies 36. Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives. 1. Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree or Diploma or Bachelor Degree or MS degree in Marketing 2. Five years hotel sales experience of which at least two years has been as Senior Sales & Marketing executive 3. Demonstrated knowledge/experience in advertising and promotional activities. 4. Computer literacy required including ability to understand and interpret financial data. 5. Highly energetic with demonstrated exceptional organization and communication skills. 6.
