A US-Based, multinational manufacturer of building materials is looking for a proactive and self-sufficient Regional Sales Manager to manage their business in Saudi Arabia based from their Riyadh office. This is a great opportunity to lead what is our client's biggest market/business by far and develop the existing sales team's skills and performance to maximise opportunities and subsequently your own rewards. This role will suit a relatively young, energetic, high-achiever, whom enjoys managing a team and can take advantage of strong Saudi market experience. You will be responsible for Sales planning, sales distribution channels, booking targets, measuring and reporting on sales performance and supporting the VP Operations (direct line Manager) as and where necessary. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong personal sales track record in previous posts and have moved on to prove he can manage a sales team and get the best out of them. You will enjoy coaching and training Sales Managers as well as proactively sourcing new and bigger opportunities for the business as a whole. You will always be thinking one step ahead and not have to be told what to do - you are the sort of person, whom acts on your own initiative for the benefit of the business and is rewarded for doing so via personal and team commission on a quarterly basis. Ideally, you will have 8+ years career experience with at least 6 years in the building materials sector within Saudi Arabia. You will also have had direct exposure to clients and contractors with proficient spoken and written English. Arabic is highly advantageous. You must have working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet to be able to produce the necessary reporting to senior management. With more than 10 years in the UK and over 6 years HR consultancy experience in the UAE, the management of AJ Associates is well versed with both local and international markets.
