Due to continued success in the country we are now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our already established team in Oman.
This document shall indicate the key attributes required to fulfil a role of Project Quantity Surveyor (PQS) with a Key Client and also support our operations in Oman in the provision of Pre and Post Contract Cost Management services on several commissions including road infrastructure and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate shall possess demonstrable skills in the following areas:
Full post contract quantity surveying services for road works project in Sohar, Oman
Experience in providing Post Contract Cost Management services to the various industry sectors.
Experience in delivering Post Contract Cost Management services internationally with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in this role.
Ability to contribute to the development of our long term strategic relationship with our key client and improve our ability to win repeat commissions.
Understanding of client’s core objectives and managing all Pre and Post Contract facets of a project to ensure a successful delivery.
Ability to work as part of a team of dynamic individuals and possess excellent communication skills. Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying
Demonstrable evidence of working as a Quantity Surveyor on various project and in particular Infrastructure / road projects.
Ability to develop and work as part of a team.
Experience of client liaison, development and management.
Be innovative and proactive.
Ability to solve problems.
Focus on delivering value for money.
