We are seeking a dynamic Non Structural Building Plan Reviewer (Architect) to join a team of professionals in our rapidly expanding Design Review Services Division. - Architectural Bachelors degree / Masters degree. - Minimum of 15 years experience with 10 years in ICC & NFPA codes. - Strong communication skills, good understanding of English and good written grammar. - Sound understanding of design and construction process. - Sound understanding of local building codes and building permit process in Abu Dhabi. - Ability to provide effective input to the improvement of the departments processes and outputs. - Good knowledge in Middle East of local materials, construction and environmental conditions - Sound knowledge and understanding of Estidama, LEED requirements and other similar sustainability standards amongst others. - Strong technical understanding and design leadership is essential in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards etc that relate to Architectural Engineering. - Excellent knowledge & experience of the ICC & NFPA codes mandatory & ICC certified - Strong team leadership with good soft-people skills essential in communicating directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team and other KEO staff. - Strong time management and organizational skill is required to effectively manage multiple projects and ensure each design review is carried out within the required time constraints and meets the expected quality of output.
