A leading pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting for a Regional Supply Chain Specialist to establish and facilitate the realization of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy, mission and business objectives. Reporting directly to Middle East Supply Chain Head, this job is based in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the monthly S&OP process for the GCC markets (balance the demand and supply planning.
- Ensure timely booking of tender orders and closely monitor production dates.
- Escalate in case of deviations.
- Monitor inventory levels and take corrective measures to prevent stock outs.
- Launch Management process: liaise with the cross functional teams (portfolio management, regulatory, DRA) to ensure successful launch of products. Ensure timely order booking and production by sites.
- Provide the necessary input for the weekly sales outlook process and secure all sales booking requirements.
- Check and verify customer debit notes for Manager’s approval.
Demand Planning:
- Monitoring actual monthly sales, stock levels, open orders
- Agreeing and signing off forecasts with country management
- Agreeing future orders and confirming with the agents
- Communicating long term forecasts to sites
Supply planning:
- Ensure order booking, closely monitor orders in system, and ensure timely production and timely shipments.
- Handle the escalation process in case of constraints
- Maintain strong resonance with sites and secure timely production and shipments. - Bachelor Degree in a business or a related discipline
- Languages: English (Arabic preferred)
- 5 years in Supply Chain Planning, material planning and procurement.
