Automotive Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the region’s automotive industry. The company imported the first consignment of Toyota vehicles to the UAE and established Al-Futtaim Motors in 1955. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers – Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers. Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager, you will be in charge in managing a team of Technicians to ensure repair standards and delivery dates are met. You need to ensure that vehicles damages match the details in the job card. You are also in charge of ordering of parts and you will closely monitor and oversee the progress of each repair making sure that the level of agreement between the Bodyshop and customer has been met. You should ensure proper job control and follow-up and enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing repeat jobs. You should also be capable of training and coaching your staff and ensure strict implementation of company rules, regulations and procedures.The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Degree or Diploma preferably in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering and should have at least a minimum of 3 years recent experience in body repairs. You should have excellent technical knowledge and must have supervisory experience in automotive dealership. You should also be able to communicate effectively with strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence.
