Marketing Executive - Abu Dhabi

A renowned company specializing in healthcare and medical is currently recruiting for Marketing Executive to be based in Abu Dhabi. You will be reporting directly to the Assistant Clinic Director
PURPOSE OF ROLE
- To play a key role in the development and implementation of the Medical Centres communication strategy. The post holder is responsible for supporting the Medical Centres effort to develop and facilitate effective communication. To contribute to a professional internal and external communications service both through practical implementation and advice. The post holder will also be responsible for leading and driving projects and initiatives to increase awareness of the Medical Centre.
- The post holder will work independently and follow the policies and procedures for the department. The post holder will also be expected to use their own initiative and keep line manager and senior colleagues informed.
- This is a role with lots of variety and ad hoc demands and so the post holder will possess excellent time management and planning skills.
KEY TASKS
- Responsible for the overall communication strategy for staff and patients.
- Responsible for driving campaigns and initiatives to increase awareness of the Medical Centre.
- To work closely with the multi disciplinary team to ensure consistent and effective communication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The post-holder will have responsibility for overseeing the delivery of existing internal communications mechanisms within the medical centre, and developing new and innovative ones as appropriate, and as part of this overarching strategy.
- Will oversee the development, planning and delivery of high profile communications projects. This may often involve the communication of significant, organisational wide decisions likely to impact on a large number of staff and patients about issues that may be complex and sensitive.
- Ensure effective communication with staff at all levels and patients.
- The post-holder will have special responsibility for ensuring that all staff and patients receive consistent information and have equal opportunities to participate in internal communications campaigns or initiatives.
- The post-holder will provide strategic as well as every day internal communications advice to staff about hospital services, helping them to promote new services, developments and events. This will include working with senior staff to identify and understand the communication needs of specific areas, and producing communications plans and monitoring their delivery.
- Help plan and deliver internal and external communications campaigns.
- To work with the Head of Web & Publications to review audit results and create an action plan.
- To copy write online content based on discussions with a range of internal and external sources
- Ensure a consistency of graphic and written identity and quality across all online items in line with the Companys brand guidelines
- To identify trends and specific needs from stakeholders to inform future service development and delivery.
- To establish and host user groups to gain feedback on web developments.
- To foster effective relationships with agreed content contributors across the Trust. To work with them in developing appropriate content and prompt them for timely content updates.
- To develop effective online content presentation guidelines, templates and functionality
- To take responsibility for routine checking and subbing of existing online content, requesting updates from contributors where needed, and checking and restoring functionality as required
- To ensure all content is presented in an accessible format in accordance with agreed standards as set out in the Companys web policy, WCAG 2 web accessibility guidelines and Freedom of Information Act.
- To produce, maintain and communicate corporate content in line with style guidance
- To maintain a strong current knowledge of best practice in presenting online content, including copywriting, visuals, and sequencing / structuring information for users, as well as a good understanding of the work of the Medical Centre.
- To identify potential content-sharing and link-building opportunities with other sites
- He/she will lead on developing, planning, implementing and evaluating a range of complex internal communications projects.
- The post-holder will provide communications advice to senior managers and other staff. This may often involve the communication of information that is complex and/or sensitive.

- Contribute to evaluation/audit and Medical Centre standard setting within the organisation
- Contribute to the development of computer-based patient records.
- Attend training and events organised by the Centre or other agencies, where appropriate
- Support colleagues with the smooth running of the Centre by providing cover and assistance, in particular during periods of absence. - UAE experience preferred, preferably in healthcare environment
- Vivacious, self sufficient, tenacious, hard working and innovative candidate required.
- Effective communicator, able to work in a close-knit team and co-operate with all medical and paramedical staff
- Demonstrable ability to write effectively for a range of different audiences and in different mediums
