- Accounts Payable: Recording payments from the suppliers, debit notes, credit notes, invoicing and daily bank reconciliation ensuring that all the payments are debited. - Supplier reconciliations follow up on the invoices with the suppliers. Recording and verifying supporting documents for validity, accuracy and completeness. - General Ledger and reconciliations: Monthly closing of books of accounts, by transferring respective data to G L ensuring irregularities and trial balance is fully up to date. - Preparation of bank, supplier and interdepartmental accounts reconciliations. Maintaining liabilities account (including Insurance/ other provisions for unaccounted/unbilled expenses) - Accounts Receivable, including processing payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts - Banking, processing bank deposits, including trip to the bank. All associated finance entries. - Assisting with Monthly and Year End tasks - Assist with Special projects as required. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting in manufacturing company - Excellent knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures - Working knowledge in Excel, Oracle & SAP - Ability to work with tight deadlines - Effective time management skills Al Ghurair Group is a main business group contributing to the economy of Dubai and the UAE.
