- Responsible for managing and executing the distribution of POS - Point of Sales materials (NME & LEAVNT) in line with the promotional objectives, budgets and time lines agreed with the Brand Managers. - Deciding and optimizing the overall logistics and distribution network and awarding the business to competitive service providers for critical promotions involving foreign suppliers, consolidation and pick up from more than one point. - Managing multiple projects and proactive co ordination with external suppliers and stakeholders to meet the required lead time to launch the promotion. - Work in tandem with the Brand team/ Sales Managers / Strategic/ Operational buyers to overcome challenges and achieve the overall Business objective. - Developing SOP's and guidelines to streamline the process with different stakeholders. - Conduct Post promotional analysis at the end of each promotion and develop various logistics optimization tools to improve the end to end process and distribution cost. - Work closely with the service providers to share with them their performance and prepare time-bound actions plan and training to bring improvement in transportation and over all service levels. - Good understanding of the various laws/ regulations (duties exceptions, VAT, load/height limits) that have direct implications on the distribution network. - Graduation / Diploma in logistics and distribution - At least 2 years in Sales or Supply chain to understand the practical side of his job profile - Exposure to Modules of linear Programming and technical aspects of Transportation costing for understanding Fixed and Variable costs in transportation. - Excel working - Knowledge of SAP functionality - Understanding of local Transportation methods.
