Sales Manager - MENA - Telecom Focus Location: Dubai Our client is a high-technology company, a global leader in security solutions. They are currently looking for a Sales Manager for MENA Region for their Telecom division, responsible for revenue growth from existing key accounts, new customer acquisitions and increase customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Generate profitable and sustainable revenue for the company - Win new customers and maximise market share within the nominated customer base. - Develop opportunity for additional application / software revenue streams - Define and implement an agreed sales plan. Deliver revenue and market share against pre-defined targets and objectives. - Build and maintain ongoing communications with the regional resources, such as marketing, sales management, technical support etc to ensure a transparent and co-ordinate approach in the region. - Ensure their strategy is understood and agreed with sales management. - Provide a regular reporting to ensure other team members as well as technical and customer support are fully informed of the latest actions and information. - Provide planning and forecasting on a regular basis. - Travel on regular basis and with limited supervision. - Establish and maintain professional business relationship with our targeted customers and partners. - Educate customers and prospects on our propositions, solutions and services. - Influence internal departments and senior management to adopt and develop appropriate technical and marketing support to match initiatives and local needs. - Previous experience at the key position in sales and business development in the MENA Region - University Degree/ Bachelor Degree in Economics, BA, Engineering from a reputable university desirable - Desirable Account/Project management knowledge/qualification - You will need to demonstrate a strong commercial instinct and market intelligence, an analytical and critical mind, numerical skills, business awareness and you must demonstrate that you work well under pressure, that you are flexible and that you possess good teamwork skills as you will be working with others on projects. Knowledge and previous experience of technical skills are a great advantage in the current climate - Strong telecom network contacts in UAE and MENA region - Mature experienced all-round sales account management skills. - Familiar with a project driven environment. - Good interpersonal skills. Highly confident and self-motivated, team player - GCC experience is mandatory for this position as well as the ability to maintain dozens of relationships with leading Telecom vendors - Highly analytical thinker, with an entrepreneurial spirit and exemplary management skills, supported by strong financial acumen. - Preferred Arabic and English speaker (desirable but not mandatory).
