Responsible for setting up and delivering procedures to manage the movement of oversize / overweight vehicles across the network. To implement and operate new systems and manage engagement with stakeholders Reports to the RCMO Manager Responsible for stakeholder liaison and communication regarding abnormal loads. Responsible for setting up the new systems & procedures. Provide training for coordinators and developing the team’s skills and knowledge. Support the RCMO manager by ensuring that the Abnormal Load operations are fully implemented. Undertake effective co-ordination with internal teams Undertake effective co-ordination with all stakeholders • Bachelor in Civil Engineering or any other relevant degree. • 5 yrs + Industry experience • Language skills: English (required) – Arabic (advantageous) • Good knowledge of the Qatari road network • Good analytical and methodical approach when making decisions. • Familiar with forms of contracts, including responsibilities and contractual obligations • Computer literate and thoroughly conversant with MS Office suite and relevant engineering software packages. • Experience of Operations & Maintenance and Construction process • A demonstrable period of Road Network maintenance experience • Ability to work within a team and have a dedicated approach to working within and meeting deadlines Ashghal is the Public Works Authority in the State of Qatar and is responsible for the construction and management of Roads, Highways, Waste Water facilities and Public Buildings.
