- Coordination with senior team members / leaders and credit Team for the receipt of all required data needed for the assessment of the proposed credit facilities. - Study the Credit Proposals that have been submitted by the different business units, ensure their compliance with the regulatory authority and the bank policies. Prepare the Credit Risk recommendations highlighting the Risks and proposing mitigations. - Be part of the decision making in line with the authority matrix based on the product programs and the bank risk appetite. - Assist in the Establishment and implementation of the credit policies, procedures and processes. - Ensure that credit risk exposures are managed within the established limits, appetite and standards and regulatory reporting requirements are satisfied. - Review and authorize the issuance of the MIS and monthly risk reports. - Assist in the Basel II requirements preparations within the group guidelines. - Assist in training the relations managers for the purpose of improving the quality of their studies through workshops and round table discussions. Essential: - BBA / Chartered accountant or other Graduation - Extensive experience in corporate banking / SME and Risk management roles (3-7 years) - Previous risk experience gained in different credit risk roles (2-4 years) Technical Skills: - Credit Risk Assessment skills - Financial Analysis or extensive Quantitative skills with use of credit rating models such MRA - Excellent understanding of SME risk assessment methods and practices - Acute awareness of Market and Industry trends including regulations - Banking product knowledge including trade, cash management and treasury - Working knowledge of credit systems / processes and core banking systems/processes Mackenzie Jones Middle East has decades of HR, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Sales, Secretarial & Business Support, Management Consulting and Engineering recruitment expertise.
