Inspire Selection are working in partnership with a major FM service provider based in Dubai. They have an urgent opening for a Head of Camp Maintenance. The Head of Camp Maintenance is an integral member of the Facilities Management Senior Management Team. This position is seen as being instrumental in implementing entrepreneurial, profitable and sustainable facilities management work winning strategies throughout the region. The Head of Camp Maintenance will be required to enthusiastically direct, lead, manage and mentor the camp maintenance staff and lead potentially huge FM projects across the Region. This is a crucial role requiring regulatory, strategic, tactical and technical facilities management operational knowledge and experience managing teams delivering complex and detailed facilities management service delivery solutions. The ideal candidate must be a team player that is able to engage with all Business Unit and Support Service Directors and staff at all levels. Responsibilities: • Lead, define and develop key Camp Maintenance operational goals and strategies that will increase efficiencies and operational capabilities, safe working practices and staff development and retention across all areas of camp maintenance • Lead and project manage large and complex new initiatives in FM across the region. These could be varied, multiple and extremely challenging. • Manage and control the Camp Maintenance and Project budgets always investigating innovative measures to actively increase revenue, stimulate growth, reduce costs and eliminate waste. • Direct, lead, manage, mentor, motivate and support all Camp Maintenance and Project management team activities in line with Vision and Values, establishing specific and measureable aims, goals and targets for all facilities management and operations teams. • Introduce best practice and a culture of continuous improvement across the business unit’s many and varied processes. • Continually assess and review Camp Maintenance and Project teams’ performance, researching, developing and introducing new capabilities and metrics to enhance and improve the facilities management service delivery models. • Develop, maintain and nurture excellent relationships with all facilities management team members, operational Business Units and Support Service Directors and their teams. • Actively explore, support and develop all facilities management related business development opportunities as required. At least 10 years in a similar type FM function Middle East experience is a must, particularly in the UAE Maintenance Management experience Financial management and budgetary control Strong leadership, able to manage circa 1000 staff Engineering qualification is a strong advatnage Inspire Selection is headquartered in Dubai and employs highly knowledgeable, professional consultants who are experts in connecting the right people with the right opportunities.
