Senior Specialist - IT Services, Yas Mall
Accountable for preserving the Service Support and Service Delivery of network connectivity, continuity, data management, disaster recovery, development , Help Desk and integrity of data and video technologies for all tenants, mall staff and 3rd party suppliers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Create Yas Mall IT strategy in concert with maturity development of the Mall and 3rd party designed Enterprise Architecture.
* Assess and determine wired and WIFI data network Demand Loads and formulate technical RFP for 3rd party services and support, consistent with ITIL V3 principles.
* Establish and maintain Problem, Incident, Release databases and maintain a Configuration Management database.
* Work with Development Team to understand and audit all 3rd party works and tenant configurations to ensure an orderly transition to an operational state.
* Offer desktop and remote help support for all staff according to SLA's.
* Serves as single point accountability with Aldar HQ IT Department and any associated 3rd parties, including all telecom registrations and relationship management thereafter.
* Work cross functionally (e.g. mall website, social media accounts, digital signage solutions, smart phone applications, data-mining to develop CRM database) to ensure optimal application of technologies; work with Marketing to distill an operational CRM.
* Manage all site specific technology upgrades, ensuring business continuity; render appropriate training.
* Craft and implement appropriate security protocols; determine optimal data storage, access and recovery strategies and tactics.
* Conduct network traffic monitoring and analyses and ensure digital footfall counting.
* Participate in Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery planning.
* Demonstrate responsiveness to Help Desk and Management queries emanating from staff and tenants.
* Participate as Mall Duty Manager (evenings/shifts/weekends), as required
Business capabilities:
* Highly mobile and involved, capable of explaining highly technical concepts and issues in lay terms to ensure stakeholder understanding and satisfaction
* Experience in complex IT/Network management of a large public facility (event, airport, shopping), preferably within the Middle East.
* Strong knowledge in Datacenter Technologies and Enterprise Virtualization Solutions such as Vmware and HyperV
* Clear ability to lead contract ITC services; ability to effectively manage existing contractual agreements.
