A leading company in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking to hire qualified candidates in the following positions: Electrical Engineer One Atbara 10 October 2013 Immediately To manage the electrical work of the plant and it’s equipment, and to significantly improve plant performance and reliability through the management and coordination of all electric engineering activities within a large scale, complex, defined area. To define, implement and manage a risk based electrical strategy for area of control in order to meet the business, Safety, Environment, Financial and Operational objectives at minimum cost and in the safest manner. · Manage, coordinate and control all aspects of engineering in order to meet agreed department objectives. · Develop the electrical strategy for a defined area in conjunction with the site engineer. · Manage and control the electrical strategy on a day-to-day basis, including routine, special and stop period maintenance, and to develop and implement capital activities. · Identify areas for engineering and financial improvement, whilst maintaining an appropriate level of availability and reliability of equipment. · Ensure the safe and effective introduction of new equipment, capital expenditure and process improvement technologies. · Determine training requirements and prepare training plans. · Requires and expert understanding of maintenance and electrical engineering processes and strategic. · 5 years experience in a process, technical or engineering discipline. · Able to demonstrate previous success in introducing risk based electrical and maintenance techniques into industrial/manufacturing organizations. · Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems, and a knowledge of SAP PM&MM would be advantage. · Release from national service. · Excellent knowledge of computer skills. · Good communication skills and excellent written and spoken English and Arabic language. · Ability to work under pressure. · Willing to re-allocate to Atbara. · Experience in the cement industry is an added value.
