Contract:        Six Months Grade/Salary:  Based on qualifications and experience Location:       Irbid, Jordan Post: National Post   Project Coordinator Position Objective:                                                                        Ref: PC001 Under the guidance of the Project Officer, the project coordinator will be responsible for all activities of the Syrian Refugee Rent Projec Duties: Coordinate the rent project process and procedures Share appropriate information with potential beneficiaries. Liaise with landlords and beneficiaries Communicate to beneficiaries and landlord the nature of the project and assistance Ensure landlord and beneficiaries are well informed about the payment Validate each beneficiary payment against the key project documents before initiating any payment Summarize payments and submit to project officer Coordinate with finance to prepare beneficiaries payment. Prepare a monthly report and reconciliate with finance report. Keep a tracking system of all paid, pending and/or cancelled payments. Inform the project officer with any updates and risks. Ensure Islamic Relief visibility and accountability and setting the compliant system for the beneficiaries Might be asked to deliver cash payment to landlord Might be asked to escort social workers during their assignment Perform any other task requested by the project officer.   Reporting To provide weekly reports for the project officer Report to project officer any risks and challenges anticipated during the project implementation. Provides regular updates and reports on progress in areas of responsibility.   Qualifications and Competencies; BA degree in accounting, finance, business or economics. 2 years' experience preferably in the same or related field. Excellent communication skills. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Excellent reporting skills in Arabic and English. « Excellent in using MS office: Word, Excel.   Distribution Project officer                         Ref:DP002 Contract: Six Months Grade/Salary: Based on qualifications and experience Location: Amman, Jordan Post:     National Post   Overall Responsibility: Under the guidance of Program Manager, the Distribution Project Officer will be responsible for managing all the distribution Items to beneficiaries. Duties: Responsible for managing the distribution process (Food, Non-food items). Assume primary responsibility for daily project management and implementation, and ensure compliance with the project donor agreement. Take the lead in project planning, and oversee implementation and budget expenditures Compile and prepare quality monthly and periodic project progress reports. Participate in coordinating meeting with NGOs, UN agencies and government. Lead setting the selection criteria effort and selecting beneficiaries based on these criteria. Ensure that the needed supplies of the project are secured, Liaise with logistic & procurement project activities. Plan for distribution security. Ensure the confidentiality of beneficiaries' information. Ensure that Islamic Relief distribution processes are followed. Establish a database for beneficiaries. Establish networks with local and international Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) operating in the areas where islamic Relief is working in. Cross check beneficiaries' database with other NGOs to avoid duplication Refer cases to other external organizations and partner's as relevant Report any risks and challenges anticipated during the project implementation. Fulfill any other tasks requested from the program manager.   Qualifications and Competencies: BA degree in Sociology, Management, Economics or any related field. PMP certificate is a plus. 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in distribution. Minimum two years' experience in non-governmental organization. Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Familiar with humanitarian standards and international distribution policies. Ability to travel inside Jordan. 3- Social Worker                                                Ref: SW003 Contract      Three Months Grade/Salary: Based on qualifications and experience Location:       irbid, Mafaq Post:      National Post   Overall Responsibility: Under the guidance of the project officer the Social Worker is responsible for conducting door to door case assessment   Duties: Conduct door to door assessment for beneficiaries. Update beneficiaries' information regularly. Ensure all documents submitted by applicants are valid. Ensure the confidentiality of the beneficiaries. Connect beneficiaries with community services and resources. Coordinate with local organization to ensure no duplication of assistance. Maintain the records of beneficiaries and document beneficiaries related information Refer cases to other external organizations and partner's services as relevant with coordination with the project officer Ensure that the all information and data on the cases registered is confidential. Document and report on each interview and recommendation on a daily basis. Submit daily report of the cases to the project officer. Respond to beneficiaries inquiries. Demonstrate strong team and communication skills.   Qualifications and Competencies: BA degree in Psychology or Sociology. 2 years' experience in social work. Experience working in non-governmental organizations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, , Excellent documentation skills. Excellent in using MS office; Word, Excel, Power point.
