Business Development Manager - Interior Fit Outs Our client is a luxury interior fit out organisation with a diversified high-end client base. A Business Development Manager is required to drive business, acquiring and maintaining client accounts. This opportunity would suit individuals with international experience, some of which has been gained within the Middle East, ideally within construction, luxury or yacht fit out. Responsibilities - Prospect new potential clients and maintain existing customers relationship within the commercial construction industry - Generate project/business opportunities and RFPs through customer contact to meet companys business plans and growth strategies - Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through Closing the Deal - Collaborate with the Board of Directors to prepare and implement the companys Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals - Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments - Lead the development and preparation of RFPs, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations - Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format - Solicit customer feedback through the project proposal and execution phases - Present, negotiate and conclude with clients type of contracts or parts of it - Follow up with the client along the execution of a project - Conduct post mortems with clients upon completion of their project - Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed - Be open to new tendencies and opportunities in the market - Liaise internally with other departments such as Commercial, Operation, Finance, Human Resources - Act as a resource person for management with respect to sales and marketing issues - Effective delivery and execution of our value proposition - Develop solid, long-term relationships with prospects (owners reps, architects, interior designers etc) - Assess the targeted quality of business coming in; refocusing efforts if off track - Perform other duties as assigned - Commercially oriented, with progressive business development, sales, experience in the construction and/or Fit out and Joinery. - Candidate should have an engineering degree &/ or Business Degree in Sales / Marketing major preferred) and/or equivalent work experience. - Should be highly flexible & adaptable and able to work effectively with multicultural workforce. - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Contractual Background/ Retail/ Hospitality - GCC experience is a must.
