Financial Analyst - Operations and Projects Business analyses under supervision and lead of Financial Controller in areas of: a.Operations and Merchandise b.New projects c.Business modeling Data collection and maintenance of data base for: a.Macroeconomic data b.Competitor data Support to: a.Financial Controller - in business presentations b.Financial Controller - in communication with countries c.Financial Controller - adhoc analysis d.Financial Control Dpt. in monthly presentation preparation and review Countries visits: a.Countries visits may be required to complete objectives - Languages: English (advanced verbal and writing), Arabic (plus but not mandatory) - Sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly modeling in Excel - Good and clear presentation skills - Good work organization skills Personality: - Open-minded and able/ready to learn - Respecting leadership of superiors but able to lead in his area of projects - Approachable and team oriented - Able to independently work and complete projects - Unlimited travel ability including Pakistan and Iran Knowledge: - Understanding of retail industry - Knowledge of accounting concepts and some knowledge of IFRS - Some knowledge of investment appraisal process, economic studies Recognized as one of the most active shopping concept developers throughout the region, the Group first introduced the hypermarket model to the Middle East in 1995.
