Action Contre la Faim (ACF), is an International Humanitarian Organization which is private, non-political, non-denomination and non-profit making. Action Contre la Faim vocation is to save lives by combating hunger, disease and those crises threatening the lives of vulnerable men, women and children. ACF currently operates in 46 countries globally and conduct programs in nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation. COMMUNITY MONITOR Duration: 6 months renewable Assignment: Carry out nutritional sensitization/awareness among the targeted communities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Strengthen community mobilization, awareness and involvement: Participate in elaborating training modules and suitable teaching materials; Sensitize the communities within all the villages under Catchment areas Using the Internal ACF guidelines and policy in accordance with the number of admissions or arrivals of beneficiaries to the sites for the sensitising sessions; Work out a schedule for the sensitisation activities as above; Participate in organizing training sessions for community volunteers and/or targeted populations and ensuring regular referral tickets to CVs; Propose possible improvements; Reinforce the link between community volunteers, health workers and head of health center by organizing frequent review strategy/update of activities meeting, experience sharing workshops. Reporting and collaboration with the team members: Regularly accurate reporting weekly and monthly list of the mobilized villages, and the reports of the CV referrals as correct and wrong referrals; Support as needed the integration activities of community Awareness and mobilization; Upon request and needs participate in other planned tasks. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma Leaving and relevant professional experience.
