Action Contre la Faim (ACF), is an International Humanitarian Organization which is private, non-political, non-denomination and non-profit making. Action Contre la Faim vocation is to save lives by combating hunger, disease and those crises threatening the lives of vulnerable men, women and children. ACF currently operates in 46 countries globally and conduct programs in nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation. Location: Aslam with regular travel to OTP sites . Duration: 6 months(renewable) Assignment: Responsible for the operation of the centre as a whole MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Team management: Identify personnel needs ;Take part in recruitment interviews; Draw up work schedules for each position; Update the personnel register; Carry out regular assessment interviews with team members; Organise training for the project team; Organise monthly meetings with the team; In the event of problems, identify the issue and seek solutions or refer up to management superior; Handle any conflicts within the team; Verify the manner in which the team interacts with beneficiaries and assistants; Supervise the team's activity reports and draw up a monthly activity report. Ensure that nutrition treatment is implemented according to the OTP protocol: Provide support to the OTP team in the implementation of the nutrition activities ;Provide regular on job training to the OTP team ;Supervise the implementation of the OTP and community component ;Identify weaknesses in the implementation of OTP and propose solutions and plan of action Ensure maintenance and hygiene for all equipment and premises: Carry out inspections on a daily basis to check the state of the premises; Update the inventory record: furnishings, minor equipment; Ensure that all equipment is used in an appropriate manner by those present at the centre ;Set up procedures to prevent theft; Implement a preventative maintenance programme using registers Supervise hygiene on a daily basis: Verify the cleanliness and disinfection of the premises and equipment; Verify correct removal procedures for sewage, solid waste and medical material; -Check that all incinerators are working properly; Update a check-sheet for each point (quantity, quality, water chlorination). Manage inventory: Draw up an inventory of stocks: quantity, quality and storage conditions; Monitor the status of stocks, orders and exits; calculate consumption rates; Check deliveries ;Prevent any interruption of supplies.
