Main Job Purpose: To provide efficient and complex 2nd line application support and consultation for the business, manufacturing and System Integration applications of the company as well as to coordinate and participate in implementations of their new modules or their enhancements to meet the growing demands of the business processes of the company and to maintain their smooth operations by ensuring their minimal downtime. Knowledge Requirements: • Knowledge in ERPs like SAP, manufacturing application like LIMS, PI, Integration applications like TIBCO etc. • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in the area of IT applications support preferable SAP, LIMS, TIBCO, PI, etc. in a corporate multi-location production company. • Certifications in SAP applications, ABAP programming, SAP Netviewer, LIMS etc. are recommended. • Awareness on ITIL processes like incident management and problem management is advisable. • ITIL V3 foundation certification is preferred. Skills: • Excellent problem solving, consultation and integration skills. • Should be good in planning activities to be completed within time lines as well as in forecasting future activities. • Self-learner of new application technologies and solutions. • Sound knowledge of troubleshooting of applications like SAP, LIMS, PI, TIBCO etc. • Good in MS Applications. • Expertise in generating KPI reports.
