We are actively seeking a construction civil engineer to join our client based in Dubai. The Role ? Ensure that all civil activities within the designated areas are well planned, coordinated and be able to utilize all available resources in coordination with other functional Managers in directing and supervising all involved site personnel and subcontractors. ? Leads and ensure all work groups are properly guided, in close cooperation with the Project Manager, in assembling and controlling the required resources (manpower, equipment, materials and tools required)to start and sustain the work efficiency and productivity until the completion of the project. ? Inspects work in progress to ensure conformity with QA/Q C specifications and requirements, Industry Codes, Standards and Procedures, and provides technical advices to resolve problems. ? Advises the Project Manager in determining and procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specific times in order to conform to the workloads, plans and schedules. ? Interact with other construction areas and Superintendent, discusses and reviews with Project Manager the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of the project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target. ? Review reports from Superintendents, and forwards to Project Manager for corrective actions if project becomes behind schedule or over the budget. ? Performs department on-boarding and induction relevant to procedures, guidelines, policies, etc. ? Any other duties as assigned Mandatory Requirement for Engineer 1. Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Master of Engineering preferred) 2. Degree / Diploma in Construction Management / Project Management. PMP preferred. 3. Good knowledge of FIDIC and Contracts Administrator. 4. Excellent knowledge of Primavera Software for Planning. 5. Should be able to qualify Dubai Municipality Exam for Supervision (G+12) 6. Should have knowledge of Building Cobol System 7. 7 to 10 years of experience working in Building Projects 8. Very good in English both Oral and Written (Letter Drafting, etc.) 9. Excellent communication skills with pleasing personality. 10. UAE Driving License. A leading Recruitment Agency in UAE.
