An architectural design consulting firm is looking for a qualified DM approved (G+12) Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years UAE experience (a must) in design and supervision of residential and commercial projects. Should have excellent knowledge and experience in dealing with relevant authorities such as DM, DCD, Trakhees etc and a member of SOE. Only candidates registered with DM and relevant UAE experience may need apply. Required experience: Steel Design & understanding of codes and construction: 5 years Required license or certification: Dubai Municipality license Good expertise with steel structure designing softwares such as STAAD Pro / RFEM and AutoCad. · Perform structural design and analysis using governing codes and standards and engineering formulas in compliance with client's requirements and specifications. · Check and review structural design calculations and drawings. · Ensure that design requirements are properly indicated on drawings. · Provide assistance to Project Team with regards to design matters. · Supervise draftsmen for the preparation of drawings and other submittals. Arabic speaking candidates with good communication and management skills are preferred but not essential.
