Position:Buyer (Non Food OR Fresh) Fully responsible for their categories,their performance will be judged by sales growth and margin (target achievement and growth) in their categories. Reports to:Head of Commercials Minimum 5 years in Hypermarkets or 10 years in Supermarkets,UAE Experience is Mandatory. • Working Knowledge of the Products, Consumer Needs, Buying Practices, Sales Goals and Retail Environment Related to your Merchandise Category by Making Market Study and Market Analysis and Data Collected. • Optimize Sales for a Particular Group of Products by Maintain a Productive Relationship with Vendors (Suppliers) that are Mutually Beneficial, as well as create an Engaging Relationship with Customers that are Interactive and Satisfying. • Responsible for every Aspect of the In-Store Retailing of a Group of Products Until those Products are taken out the Doors by Customer. • Vendors (Suppliers) Management, Pricing & Marketing, and Planning & Inventory Control. • Make the Right Selection, Availability, and Acquisition of Products Category where we can Increase Company Sales and Meet Customer's needed. • Responsible for Negotiating Yearly Agreement, Pricing, Delivery and Payment Terms with Vendors (Suppliers). • Prepare Yearly Agreement for Vendors as per as company Target/ Budget, Prepare Progressive Target Depend on Business Forecasting During the Year to Gain other Income for the company at end of the year. • Responsible for Setting Competitive Pricing Points, and Adjusting the Pricing to Increase Sales and Clear out Stagnant Items from Inventory.
