Market leading European food & beverage machinery business seeks Purchasing & logistics Executive to be based from its Dubai office. Following a recent visit to the companies head office in mainland Europe Focus Management International has been tasked with securing a high calibre purchasing and logistics professional who will help design and execute the strategies associated to both purchasing and logistics across the MENA region. You will be a self starter and have the natural ability to initiate, develop, plan and implement strategies pertaining to contract negotiations, cost saving projects, purchasing strategies, logistics coordination strategies etc. Candidates with experience of purchasing and logistics on a local level but also across Africa and India are particularly interesting to our client. You will demonstrate a natural commercial understanding as well as solid technical understanding from within the food & beverage/ industrial machinery industry sectors. A natural leader you will be charged with identifying and evaluating all suppliers as well as working closely with the quality assurance, technical and sales teams. This role has a dual reporting structure into both the Technical Manager and Regional Director. You will also liaise closely with the Finance teams. This role will require you to be fluent in English with preference being given to candidates who can also speak other languages such as Arabic, German or French.
