• Supports and assists in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets. • Provides market intelligence and analysis aiming to enhance the quality and value-added nature of the company’s products and services to the customers. Key responsibilities and activities Operational: • Applies a consultative selling approach to aggressively grow sales of PET Resin • Manages and develops a portfolio with an understanding to the customers’ needs and business requirements through requent contact and personal visits • Supports in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales goals • Provides market intelligence and analysis aiming to enhance the quality and value-added nature of the company’s products and services to the customers • Works closely with other departments in the organization to improve customer satisfaction and ensure continued market leadership. • Targets and develops new business growth opportunities within the assigned markets and segments • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with new customers or customers from the existing contact sphere to generate new business for the organization. This may include: - Generating leads by the way of making telephone calls - Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential. • Entertains customer enquiries and provide them presentations on OCTAL’s service capabilities and the technical attributes of its products • Prepares presentations, proposals, quotations, and sales contracts • Negotiates the terms of an agreement and close sales • Prepares a variety of status weekly and monthly reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to targets • Constitutes a key escalation point with customers ensuring that good relationship is maintained, that the quality of service exceeds industry standards and that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner • Maintains the database of existing and potential customers and using this to generate new business through e-mails, phone calls, and personal meetings • Forecasts yearly and monthly product demand levels and recommend pricing strategy per region/account • Represents the company at trade exhibitions and industry events • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, presentation skills is essential • Dynamic and proactive in nature and willing to work in an extended hours and under pressure • Strong verbal and written communication skills, English proficient, additional Arabic and/or French would be preferred • Good in sales forecasting and market analysis • Good Organizational & Administrative skills • Willing to travel extensively 50-75% of time OCTAL is the largest PET resin manufacturer in the Middle East and the largest integrated PET sheet manufacturer in the world.
