Receptionist needs to deliver the quality, second to none, service that our clients have come to expect. Purpose To assist with the provision of a successful and proactive receptionist as part of the Atkins KSA, Middle east business. Requirements Technical Competencies Essential - Preferably Degree qualified - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Receptionist role or Admin field - Experience in consultancy/construction firm advantageous - Excellent knowledge Microsoft office software - Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English - Ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and clients at all levels essential - Knowledge of project processes desirable - Able to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way - Saudi National Behavioral Competencies Essential - Conduct yourself professionally at all times when on company premises and wearing - Company related business attire. - Ability to relate and interact successfully with a multi-cultural workforce at all levels. - Good coordinating skills and high degree of accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure. - Must be able to work independently with a proactive approach. - Able to assist outside normal working hours (evenings or weekends) on occasion. Responsibilities - Responsible for the reception area and making sure it is free from obstruction and welcoming guests and clients - Responsible for answering the switch board. Receiving calls and making sure they are passed to staff promptly. If these staff are not available, advising the caller and take a message to call back - Responsible for receiving and dispatching mail, couriers and correspondences, supervising drivers - Faxing documents for all members of staff as and when requested - Scheduling & arranging conference room availability - Liaising with main office - Updating telephone lists and circulating to members of staff Functional Relationships - Administrator, Office Services Department Atkins is one of the leading providers of professional, technology based consultancy and support services to the industry, commerce and governments in all of the worlds major economies.
