The Director of Business Development should have a clear understanding of industry challenges and must use knowledge of data and trends to identify new growth opportunities for the company. The DBD will be required to advise the company on a wide range of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, asset purchases and dispositions, restructuring and reorganization. Main Responsibilities: Identification, evaluation, structure, pursuit and execution of acquisitions and divestiture transactions. Lead multi-disciplinary due diligence processes and direct professional advisors (investment bankers, accounting firms, outside counsel) in the investigation of potential M&A targets. Build and maintain complex financial models to perform analysis under different operating scenarios using input from management and public sources and perform full valuation analysis including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analysis. 10+ years of broad-based business development experience with global organizations with holding a Bachelor's degree required in finance, strategy, business or a related analytical field with strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax concepts, understanding of legal aspects related to M&A transactions.
