Plan is committed to realizing child rights and is obligated to provide children with whom it works a safe and conducive environment.    Plan’s Sudan Human Resources department provides a service that will enable the people in Plan to work strategically consistently, linked by Plan values and the common purpose of sustainable child poverty reduction as they deliver work to change the lives of children across the globe. We seek a person with a strong sense of integrity and personal commitment help us further the Plan – International mission in Sudan program, the Country Human Resources Manager is reporting to the Country Director and with technical support from the regional Human Resource Partner, the Country Human Resource Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for the HR function in the country program maximizing the opportunities to build and retain and effective team supportive of the Plan’s business needs while fully cognizant of the risks posed by the local context and the needs of staff in the changing environment. Member of the Country Management Team and reporting to the Country Director on all areas of opportunity and risk day to day and long team on HR for the delivery of Plan’s strategy, Directly manages only the HROD officer, Oversees HR needs of 188 staff (international and local) as well as short term staff and consultant, Country wide strategic overview of the implementation of the country’s HR policy, including performance management across CO, PU and Project offices in seven locations to inform further system development and capacity building initiatives. Has responsibility for compliance with organizational and statutory policies and laws on HR legality matters. Budget responsibility limited to area specific matters.   Plan offers a very competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The post in on a fixed term contract for one year, salary in SDG 8,425 (Eight Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty Five SDG). In addition to the salary, Plan offers a generous package of benefit and different allowances including health insurance. Plan also pays additional three months basic salary every year to staff during key festivals and in the month when school starts in Sudan.
